Originally founded in 1996, NetSalon has been through a significant paradigm shift since its inception. In the heady days of the mid 90's the focus was on the promise of technology and the hope of future profits. NetSalon was not immune to the allure of immense dollars and the heat associated with going "public".
NetSalon Software Founder Lance A. Perry decided to establish and operate its Software and Technology Development Mission where the focus was the proactive application development of technology in Content Aggregation, E-Commerce, Marketing and Mission-Critical Systems for newly formed and growing companies, in particular those involved in Direct Sales or MLM.

We help identify, evaluate and adopt best practices and technologies that improve and generate profitability, production and predictability. We use the term technology in its broadest sense to include software, hardware, processes, methods, techniques, and tools that enhance human capability. Our focus is on proven technologies that are easily staffed and resourced.

 In the early days, NetSalon was on the leading edge of content aggregation having been instrumental in some of the very first "Portal" applications. Headquartered in Kirkland, Washington the company was at the epicenter of web technology development with names like InfoSpace, Amazon, Onvia and countless other companies sprouting up in the shadow of Microsoft's Main Campus only a stones throw away. At that time the promise of the Internet was overwhelming and the hype of hope was the corporate climate, with valuations reaching stratospheric levels, everyone wanted a piece of the public offering pie.

Still glowing from the successful integration of Snap, an NBC property at the time, and having achieved the  lofty status of being the only third party Direct Sales Software company to Co-Brand Microsoft's MSN, ISP service NetSalon succomed  to the pressure of going public. It was at that point that the  Company  lost  it's laser like focus on being the preeminent force in  delivering content to  the masses and began to focus instead on the waltz with Wall Street and the Dog and Pony shows that are required when any company pursues that path.

When the .COM Bomb exploded it was only actual revenues and real customers that kept NetSalon from folding, fortunately the company did not share the same fate so many other highly funded companies did that had no viable business model. NetSalon was at the forefront of delivering an application service model to the Direct Sales industry at the time, revolutionizing Back Office access over the web. With no small effort, Lance A. Perry the companies founder, shed the Public Shell to an overseas investor that was clearly enamored with the fuss and administrivia required to have a public company in America. Emerging debt free with customers in tact and no longer encumbered by the strains of the SEC, a private and nimble NetSalon spent the next five years establishing itself as the Market Leader in Digital Infrastructure for Direct Sales Organizations across the globe. Along the way NetSalon developed proprietary software (Aeon Card, Grab Stock, EZ Sites and the first Enterprise Class ASP delivery of commission calculation and genealogy view for MLM companies) as well as a reputation for excellence in web design and graphics.

Over the last few years NetSalon has expanded its software development across the globe, providing all manner of custom solutions for companies large and  small. Most of our business is referred to us by those in "the know" and we place no higher value than on our unique and protected relationship with our Clients.
